Things to Do Post-Laser Hair Removal to Make You Look Sensuous

Many people wonder what the body feels like after going through hair removal treatment. The truth is that there will be some side effects, as follows, but the negative ones are relatively insignificant if the unwanted hairs were removed properly. In fact, after laser hair removal, you will look sensuous!

Okay, after the procedure to remove unwanted hair is done, you might have folliculitis due to swelling and sensitivity in the area you were treated. Interestingly, this is consider a "good reaction" because it means that hair follicles had swelled due to the treatment. Laser energy had succeed in killing all the hair follicles and the result looks like bumps on the skin, but it will disappear within 2 days. If any other reactions occur get help from your treatment centre as soon as possible.

It is also good to start softening and moisturizing your skin in order to see a better result. Pepper-like hair might appear underneath your skin if you have coarse and dark hair. The hair looks like it is still growing when the dead follicle is pushed out but it is not. You can gently pull the hair or use a tweezers to pluck it out. Contact the treatment centre if your hair is still growing on the treated area as it could be a missed spot. The cause of missed spot is because you were jumpy during the treatment or you had requested for a break. Your treatment centre will do it again during your next appointment.

Hair trapped underneath the surface of the skin will be pushed out faster once you start scrubbing. It helps keep the skin balanced and it will remove dead hair from underneath your skin when you moisture. Use glycolic acid facial cleanser or body scrub to scrub your skin. It will push out the dead hair by removing the dead skin cells. If there is any dead hair being pushed out around the bikini area or underarms, you can shave. Always remember that the hair is not growing. It is just a process where dead hairs are being pushed out.

You will be hairless once the hair is pushed out entirely. Keep a note on how long you are being hairless as the technician will know how successful the treatment works for your body. A good result can be seen when you are hairless for about 2 weeks as you are a beginner. As you continue on with the treatment, you will be hairless longer. During your 5th or 6th treatment, you can even be hairless up to 3 months!

Keep in mind to do the treatment weeks apart as hair grows according to the cycles. To see a good outcome, keep to the schedule given to you. Your treatments will be closer together then further apart when it comes to the end of the treatment. The ending of your treatment should be 16 weeks apart to make sure that the laser can destroy all the hair. With this, you will have a hairless and would-die-for body!
