Laser Treatment For Skin

Laser treatment is a non-invasive method of treating various skin conditions. Skin treatment with laser is gaining a lot of importance since it is an effective way of curing skin problems permanently. Hair removal: This type of treatment is different from skin treatment. There are five types of lasers used for hair removal, pulsed light, Nd: Yag lasers, diode lasers, alexandrite and ruby lasers. It helps in removing hair from different body parts like upper lip, chin, earlobe, breasts, thighs, bikini lines, arms, legs, pubic area, abdomen, toes, feet, underarms etc.

Carbon dioxide laser treatment: This procedure is more intense. It penetrates deeper into the layers of the skin to work on pronounced lines and wrinkles. A local anesthetic injection may be given or general anesthesia may be used for the patient. It is a powerful treatment method and stimulates the regeneration of healthy skin underneath. The procedure is often known as resurfacing of the skin since it deals with the more serious skin problem.
